I've been making media more social since 1995. I have combined social strategy with digital product development throughout my career,  for a variety of industries, across web and mobile. I started my tech career in 1995 in a garage in San Francisco. I was hired to ship orders for an educational software company. By week two, I got promoted to manage one of the first teen sites on the web, Cyberteens. Which was good because shipping orders was not my forte. My love for social was kindled as I managed the messageboard and saw the first post from a kid from South Africa, which back then, felt magical. The teens supported each other through the trials of adolescence, penned columns, and sent me code samples to improve the site. This was the first of many roles that combined social, content and product development, not just in education, but for industries as diverse as online advertising, local search, app development, the arts, nonprofits, and healthcare. My vast experience and superpower in gleaning patterns allows me to quickly assess the possibilities for your startup, nonprofit or brand and its connection with its audience.
